Payam Javan: President Donald Trump has been declared in “excellent health” following his annual physical exam conducted at Walter Reed Medical Center on April 11. According to White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella, the president displayed strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function. The exam is Trump’s first since beginning his second term in office.

The report noted that Trump, now weighing 224 pounds, has lost 20 pounds since his last presidential physical in 2020. His cognitive health also appears intact, with a perfect score of 30/30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. The comprehensive evaluation found no significant issues across multiple systems, including vision, hearing, lungs, heart, and musculoskeletal health. A previous gunshot wound to Trump’s right ear from a 2024 assassination attempt was noted, but no current complications were reported.

Trump continues to take cholesterol and heart medications, maintains full vaccination status, and lives an active lifestyle, including frequent golf play. Dr. Barbabella concluded that the president remains fully fit to carry out his duties as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.
