Heritage Foundation Targets Wikipedia Editors for Antisemitic Bias

Payam Javan: The Heritage Foundation has initiated a project to identify and hold accountable Wikipedia editors who allegedly publish antisemitic content. According to a report from The Forward, the conservative think tank has communicated with various Jewish organizations, outlining plans to track editors misusing their positions on the online encyclopedia. The foundation intends to analyze editing patterns, frequency, and content similarities to pinpoint biased contributors.

This initiative is part of Project Esther, a national strategy by the Heritage Foundation aimed at combating antisemitism in the United States and ensuring the security and prosperity of all Americans. By focusing on editors who consistently oppose Zionism or promote antisemitic views, the foundation seeks to address and mitigate the spread of such content on widely used platforms like Wikipedia.

The Heritage Foundation’s efforts align with its broader policy recommendation blueprint, Project 2025, designed for President-elect Donald Trump. Through these combined initiatives, the organization aims to influence policy and public discourse, ensuring that antisemitic content is effectively challenged and reduced across various media and information platforms.
