Texas law enforcement apprehended an Iranian who was trying to enter the country illegally from Mexico

Payam Javan: Last week, Texas law enforcement apprehended an immigrant who was trying to enter the country illegally from Mexico. He was an Iranian named Alireza Heidari, 29, whose name and birthdate had first been detected as a match on the FBI’s terror blacklist

Along with four other illegal immigrants, Heidari was discovered hiding in a car trunk. When authorities apprehended him, they discovered a match between his name and one on the terror watchlist. Heidari was eventually found to not be a match on the terror watchlist, according to DHS, which later confirmed this.

Due to President Joe Biden’s policy, the southern border is now completely open, and the number of illegal immigrants that are entering the country continues to increase and It appears that anyone can enter the nation without a visa.

Given that there is essentially no one there to stop them, it makes it likely that terrorists and criminals would take advantage of the confusion at the border to enter the nation. It is important to remember that only three people were detained at the southern border in 2020, while Donald Trump was president.
