The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office has announced the appointment of Sergeant Katie Oliveri as the new Public Information Officer (PIO) within the Media Relations Unit. Her addition marks an important step in strengthening communication between the Sheriff’s Office, the media, and the community.

Her diverse operational background provides a well-rounded understanding of both internal and public-facing aspects of law enforcement.
