Payam Javan: Reza Pahlavi has issued a global call to action urging Iranians abroad and freedom advocates worldwide to take part in a coordinated day of demonstrations on 14 February, designated as a Global Day of Action in solidarity with Iran’s ongoing pro-democracy movement.

The initiative calls on the international community to move beyond statements of concern and take immediate, practical steps to support the Iranian people. Pahlavi outlined six core demands, including dismantling the Islamic Republic’s apparatus of repression, cutting off all financial resources to the regime, restoring free access to the internet, expelling regime-affiliated diplomats, releasing all political prisoners, and preparing to recognize a legitimate transitional government to guide Iran toward democracy.

Major demonstrations are planned in Munich, Los Angeles, and Toronto, with organizers encouraging supporters unable to travel to gather locally and amplify Iran’s voice in their own cities. The call emphasizes the importance of visible, unified public pressure to compel democratic governments to act decisively.

Pahlavi condemned the Islamic Republic for widespread violence, mass killings, and internet shutdowns aimed at suppressing dissent, stating that these efforts have failed to break the will of the Iranian people. Despite severe repression, protesters inside Iran continue to resist, demanding freedom and national sovereignty. According to the statement, fear has receded and a democratic transition is approaching.

The message concludes with an appeal to those living in free societies to stand in solidarity with Iranians on 14 February, stressing that unity can force governments to listen and that history will remember those who stood with the Iranian people at a decisive moment.
