Musk, who has recently been vocal in his support for Trump, described the 2024 election as a critical “turning point” for the United States, emphasizing his concerns about potential threats to American democracy. Although Musk has historically refrained from political endorsements, he explained that he felt the stakes were especially high in this election due to what he perceives as vulnerabilities in the voting process. Specifically, Musk expressed concerns about the impact of illegal immigration in swing states, warning that it could lead to an imbalance of power favoring one political party. He argued that if non-citizens could sway the vote in these closely contested states, it might create a permanent advantage, undermining fair competition in future elections.

Rogan’s endorsement of Trump comes on the heels of recent interviews with both Trump and Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance on his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” Notably, Rogan had also been approached by the campaign for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, who sought an interview under particular conditions, including a limited timeframe of 45 minutes and an alternate location. Rogan, however, declined to accept these terms, citing fairness, as both Trump and Vance had agreed to the standard format of a multi-hour conversation in Rogan’s Texas studio. With Rogan’s podcast commanding a massive global audience of over three billion listeners and millions of subscribers, his endorsement could have a substantial influence on his followers as Election Day approaches.
